The Parliamentary Friendship Group of Niger met with the Foreign Minister of Iran during their visit to Tehran.
In this meeting, Dr. Amir Abdollahian emphasized the view of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the direction of expanding relations with African countries and added that the movement of parliamentary delegations can be the basis for the expansion of relations and the visit of senior officials of the two countries to each other's capitals.
He emphasized the need to activate the joint economic commission between the two countries.
"Ahmad Al Hamdo", the head of the friendship group with the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Niger Parliament, also emphasized the desire of African countries to develop relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He considered one of the objectives of the visit of the Niger Parliamentary Friendship Group to our country to examine the fields of development of relations between the two countries and expressed hope that with the cooperation of the representatives of the Islamic Council, new ways of expanding the relations between the two countries will be provided in all fields.
